We are almost through Febuary and you’re focused on the goals you’ve set for the New Year. Getting into a rhythm and accomplishing what you set out to do each day. When we go hard at our goals, especially at the start of a New Year, it’s exciting to push forward. Just don’t lose yourself in the process.
To do anything effectively, you must take care of yourself. Taking care of everyone’s needs around you is draining. It’s difficult to take care of anyone else’s needs unless you take care of yours first. Take time for you.
When’s the last time you had a nice, relaxing bubble bath before bed? It only takes a few minutes but the benefits will last much longer. To soak away the challenges of the day and reflect on positive outcomes. I always get clarity and usually have some sort of revelation in the tub or shower.
Set milestones within your business to pamper yourself. Break down the large goals into stepping stones and reward yourself for your hard work! Maybe you got one of the clients or speaking engagements on your list. Schedule yourself a facial or pedicure. Just some small service to reward yourself.
Being an Entrepreneur, we don’t have a boss at the top to shower us with rewards. If you’re in business for yourself and by yourself, by all means, take care of yourself! You will be rejuvenated, refreshed and ready to take on the world!
